Yorkshire Sculpture Park

having been told this is a good place to go to look around at various artists sculptures and installations, I decided to pay a visit on Sunday 11th October, spending 3 hours walking round the gardens and displays.

unfortunately due to the good weather on the day, the park was very busy with families who tended to pay no attention to other people in the park or the signs saying please do not climb on the exhibits! (a new camera bag purchase of a stun gun is being considered)

some of the exhibits in the park were a lot more popular than others (Henry Moore installations) but for some reason these left me cold compared to other artists such as  Magdalena Abakanowiz.

At the park there is currently an exhibition of “the wave” featuring the poppies that were placed at the tower of london earlier in the year
