Colour print to mirrored acrylic

for this photograph, I obtained some adhesive acetate and printed directly onto this in colour using my inkjet printer at home, this was then positioned and heated slightly before carefully sticking onto a clean mirrored peice of A4 acrylic a ruler to try and keep the acetate from creasing.

this method was done to try and produce a different way of displaying the photograph allowing the mirrored surface to reflect light back through the photograph.

This experiment has been a partial success in how I wanted the image to look but after the glue has dried between the acetate and the acrylic air bubbles have started to appear, however the light does have a certain luminence to it when viewed at the correct angle.
