Making a traditional print from a digital image

For this I first chose an image I had taken with my digital camera converted the photograph to black & white in software, did any fine touches in paint shop pro photo editing suite, before using the option to turn the image into negative colourscheme

The photograph then was printed on to clear A4 sized acetate to be able to use under the enlarger in the darkroom.

In the darkroom the acetate was placed on photographic light sensitive paper and printed as a contact print. This i found worked very well with a sharp clear image with a good tonal range from white through to deep black.
